During the “With a Trace” quest, the “Inspect the Adorned Wreckage” objective is relatively straightforward once you know where to travel and what to look for. It is helpful to avoid unnecessary fights during this portion of the trip. The objective is focused on reaching a specific location and activating a device, so spending resources on avoidable encounters can make the rest of the run less efficient.
The destination becomes much easier to recognize once you know its appearance. Look for a huge structure that resembles a crashed rocket or ship. Unlike ordinary pieces of scenery, this wreck has been heavily decorated with graffiti and flags.
The unusual decorations make it a strong visual landmark. Once the structure comes into view, slow down and make sure you have reached the correct location before searching for the interaction point.
Reaching the wreck itself does not complete the objective. The important device is positioned around the southern side, so there is no reason to search every corner of the structure. Instead, use the wreck as your central landmark and work around toward its southern section.
When you reach the southern side, examine the improvised desks and platforms surrounding the wreck. The communication device is relatively small compared with the enormous structure, which means it can be easy to overlook when approaching at full speed.
The strongest clue is a small computer terminal with a bright yellow glow. It looks like a yellow laptop or compact communications console sitting on one of the makeshift platforms.
Once you notice the glowing device, move directly toward it. There is no need to interact with the other objects around the wreck. Concentrating on the yellow terminal keeps the process quick and reduces the chance of becoming distracted by unrelated environmental details.
After reaching the terminal, activate it to begin the required interaction. A progress bar will appear, and the key point is to remain in position until the entire bar has been completed.
Avoid moving away from the device while the interaction is underway. Even though the task itself is simple, interrupting the process can prevent the objective from registering properly.
When the progress bar reaches the end, the inspection is complete. You do not need to search for another computer, inspect another section of the wreck, or repeat the interaction.
Another useful feature of this objective is that extraction is not necessary after the interaction has been completed. Once the device has been successfully activated, the quest progress is preserved.
